This Bolivian coffee comes to us from the Cafe Central farm in the Yungas region just outside the capital city of La Paz. Luis Huayhua and his wife Zenobia Charca, the farmers behind this fine coffee micro-lot, not only harvested this coffee, but fermented, de-pulped, washed and dried the crop on site to ensure an entry worthy of making a mark in the Cup of Excellence competition. In 2008, Luis and Zenobia took home 1st place in the competition and the honor of having the best coffee lot in the whole of Bolivia.
